Portugal Restaurant Week in California offers a week-long celebration of Portugal’s rich gastronomic heritage, bringing together 8 esteemed Portuguese restaurants to showcase the vibrant flavors and culinary traditions of the country.

The Consulate of Portugal in San Francisco and the Portuguese Trade and Investment Agency (AICEP) is organizing the first-ever Portugal Restaurant Week in California, taking place from 22-28 April in the San Francisco Bay Area and Los Angeles.

At the heart of this event are the special prix fixe menus, meticulously crafted to delight food enthusiasts with a captivating array of Portuguese delicacies. Seafood takes center stage, featuring renowned dishes such as sardines and salt-dried cod (bacalhau), alongside other culinary delights like roasted octopus, seafood stews, and cataplanas. Each dish is thoughtfully paired with exquisite Portuguese wines, enhancing the dining experience with their delightful flavors and aromas.

Portuguese cuisine, influenced by the Mediterranean, offers a rich tapestry of flavors, textures, and aromas that promise a unique and memorable dining experience.
